ABOUT ME
Boy
Playful, funny
Running, walking, jumping
I am mad, happy, and sad!

I AM
I am a fair boy who likes food
I wonder if there is new stuff in town
I hear that Michael Jackson is a “freak”
I see my cousin at the movie house every time
I want a lot of money
I am a fair boy who likes food.
I pretend to be a football player
I feel I won’t hit hard
I touch people when I get angry
I worry how I would play in the game
I cry sometimes when people mess with me
I am a fair boy who likes food.
I understand that students get practice exercises everyday
I say going to college is a dream
I dream to be a football player too
I try to say good things in school
I hope to play football
I am a fair boy who likes food.
Levern
ReplyDeleteI liked your honesty in your poem. You used words in a powerful way that shows something deeper about you.
Keep writing!

"I try to say good things in school"
ReplyDeleteBelieve it or not, this line stood out most in my mind. Now-a-days kids in school pay no heed to the destructive words that come out of their mouths. It's cool to be good. So stay cool.
