SPORTS Quotes Writing Practice: RACE Strategy W8.2. Students will reflect on the affirmative quotes about SPORTS. This activity will help them write routinely over extended time frames (time for research, reflection, and revision) and shorter time frames (a single sitting or a day or two) for a range of discipline-specific tasks, purposes, and audiences. Targets Common Core Standards: RI 6.4, RI 6.10, W 6.9, W 6.10. Enjoy!

Students will love this 19-page full-color constructed response writing practice which uses the RACE, Word Work, and other strategies to develop the topic with relevant facts, definitions, concrete details, quotations, or other information and examples.
