By the end of the lesson students will be able to summarize the text “New Year, New Country” with main idea and supporting details in at least 3 sentences and write it in paragraph form. The standards are presented in a kid friendly language in this engaging lesson for our students with diverse learning needs! This lesson can also be used with slight modifications for ELL and ELA elementary grades.
